CoolSculpting in Utah
How does CoolSculpting work?
Our Utah CoolSculpting patients find the fat freezing technology mysterious and fascinating. CoolSculpting works by processes termed cryolipolysis. The skin and underlying fat are pulled by suction into a handpiece, freezing the fat and tissue that is drawn in. Fat is more sensitive to this freezing process than other tissues, and the result is that the fat cells become irreparably injured and eventually lost for good. * Click on image to enlarge.

In 2013 a new applicator called CoolSmooth was developed that allows treatment of areas that are often not pinchable such as the outer thighs and upper abdomen.
